It was a whole half century ago that Paddington Bear,in his trademark duffle coat arrived from Darkest Peru and was found at Paddington Station in London.Fifty years of marmalade sandwiches later,he still remains one of Britian's favourite bears !

Paddington Bear usually wears a duffle coat and on occasions,Wellington boots.His favourite food is marmalade.He always carries a jar in his suitcase and often has a marmalade sandwich tucked under his hat ! One of the Paddington's most important possessions is his scrapbook where he likes to write about all his adventures.
